What Is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a perfectly natural state of mind comparable to “daydreaming”.
The Hypnotherapist induces deep relaxation and uses this light "trance" state to access
the Subconscious mind
whereby old patterns of unwanted behaviour can be changed
for the benefit of the client.
Contrary to the popular belief that you lose control when under hypnosis,
the client remains calm
and is able to retain self-control at all times and can never be
made do to anything against their own will and moral beliefs.



So Why is Hypnotherapy effective?


Hypnotherapy can be successful where other therapies have been perhaps less effective.
By applying hypnotic techniques, the conscious mind is bypassed and the subconscious mind is “tapped” into.
 This is the part of the mind where we store our past events and our emotions.
I am able to lower the resistance of the conscious mind to bring about your desired changes,
and therefore I can help you to “re-programme” the previous templates of negative behaviour patterns.
and begin the process of  learning these new
positive templates.

Modern Hypnotherapy is "Solution focused" which means it helps each client to “move on”, helping to
 identify and manifest their own individual solutions, learning to make the most of living in the present moment and
enabling them to be in control of their thoughts and remaining focused on the answers rather than analysing,
dwelling,  and re-living  past events or worrying about the future.

All of my clients' treatments are tailored to individual needs and therefore the effects & results are unique for each and every person.
The number of sessions required varies from client to client and your own treatment program will be discussed during the Initial Consultation.
